Caspian and the Enchanted Lake is a Children's book I worked on for a client. I look a lot of inspiration from the work of Rackham when designing this book. The story for this book is inspired by the interplay of Persian and Slavic folk law shared across the Caspian sea. 

The book was created using photoshop and I focused a lot on the flow the the line work to bring movement and interest into the story particularly with the goddess character. 

This is one of the early line work tests I created with Baba Yaga approaching in her house. 

We played with a lot of different concepts and looks when developing the characters. The goddess with the most visually important to the author. 

I really love the roll poster that I created for the readings. I love this project.
